One of the great coaches in Kansas history, Dick
Harp, died today. If you are looking for an analogy, imagine that Vic Bubas
died, or maybe Denny Crum. He's important to Kansas history and tradition, and
to Dean Smith and Roy Williams. Needless to say, it could well be an
emotional factor in the game. Our sympathies to his friends and family. From all accounts, he was a good man and an excellent coach.
