In a surprise move, after upsetting Maryland last night (not really an upset but the rankings say so),
Wisconsin coach Dick Bennett has resigned. Saying he "just couldn't
take it anymore, Bennett departs the scene, leaving his assistant Brad Soderberg to take over.
This also leaves another Big 10 job in flux. Indiana will review their interim coach at season's end, and
Brian Ellerbee is on the hot seat at Michigan. Our guess is Bob Knight would be interested in two of the three jobs.
