Wake has an exhibition game tonight against the Global Sports All-Stars,
but unhappily for the Deacs, a
third of their team won't play. Vidaurreta has his knee problem, Ervin
Murray has mono, and Odom is sitting Dshamal Schoetz, hoping to redshirt
him. And there is one ineligible transfer. And unfortunately,
Murray's mono may be worse than originally thought.
Much more interesting to us is a name on the other team, one Schea Cotton.
Cotton, you'll recall, struggled to find a school before picking Bama and
rushing off far too soon to the NBA. His path, unfortunately, is much
more typical than most, and with the NBA now struggling to sell tickets, the
money may not always be as lucrative as it is currently.
