Duke whipped UCLA 80-52 in the first round of the Women's Sports
Foundation tournament in New Mexico. Here's the box,

Alana Beard debuted with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists
but also 4 turnovers and 4 fouls. She scored 9 straight points to start
the second half to put Duke up by 29.
Georgia Schweitzer had her usual game: 14 points on 6-7 shooting, 3
assists and 2 rebounds.
Iciss Tillis led the frosh with 7 rebounds to go along with her 9 points,
3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.
Michele Matyasovsky and Missy West were dynamite off the bench, scoring
10 and 12 points respectively and combining for 3-6 shooting from three.
More impressively, Matyasovsky led the team with 10 rebounds (her first
career double-double) and had a block, while Missy had an amazing 7
boards and 5 assists, leading the team.
No Duke player was in the game longer than 24 minutes. Georgia only
played 17 and the still-healing Rochelle Parent 13.
Coach G was not happy with her team's 30 (!) turnovers and 26 fouls,
giving UCLA 28 free throws. The Bruins shot a putrid 26% (to Duke's
53%) and committed 18 turnovers of their own.
Duke will play the winner of New Mexico-LSU tomorrow.
