Matt Doherty will be one of the major ACC stories for most of the season,
first simply because he is there, and if he either exceeds expectations or
disappoints, that'll be a major story too. Michael Kruse has a piece up on ACC
Today about
Doherty and the expectations. We said when he was at Notre Dame that he was
a rising star, and we still think that, but this situation would challenge
almost anyone. Perhaps youth will work in his favor and he'll have an
easier time than, say, Larry Brown or Roy Williams might have.
