El Deano has some comments in the Philadelphia Daily News about
Larry Brown, saying it would have been his job had he wanted it. Those
of us who gew up with Dean realize there is a thing called Deanspeak. This
may or may not be a prime example of it: "I think part of the problem was,
it wasn't done as soon as [Baddour] went out there - it didn't happen
immediately. I know there was a vast difference in salary, but that's not
something that would have stopped Larry." People who have followed
Dean over the years have learned to listen carefully: is he saying here that
Baddour blew it?
