Coach G Gets A Big Recruit

6-0 G Monique Currie, the #3 ranked high school senior in the nation, has
decided to attend Duke University next year
according to the Women's
Basketball Journal.

Coupled with #15 Wynter Whitley, this wraps up yet another
ultra-successful recruiting class for Duke, as Coach G has managed to
recruit replacements for both Georgia Schweitzer and Rochelle Parent.
This marks the fifth top 25 player to commit to an ACC program, with UNC
also getting two and Virginia one.

Currie is a spectacular guard who can play anywhere in the backcourt.
She attends the Bullis School, the same Maryland prep academy that
produced Duke legend Kira Orr. In fact, Orr is an assistant there right
now and undoubtedly had kind things to say about the program. Combined
with the last two amazing recruiting classes, there is little doubt that
Coach G has established herself as one of the finest recruiters in the
country.
