Adam Lucas has a
follow up on the seating controversy at the Dean Dome. Message One from the
Rams Club: forget it.
In a less than subtle shot across the bow, Rams Club President Moyer Smith
said this:
"If something is changed about seating, they'd be disenfranchising some of the university's largest
donors. That would negatively impact giving at the university as a whole, because it would send a message that the university doesn't honor
commitments. What people need to realize is that these donors we're talking about
disenfranchising are not one-dimensional athletic fat cats. They give to all parts of the university."
Translation: move us and you won't see one thin dime. The students will have to be pretty creative to pull this off.
