Andy Katz has a
review of the top freshmen up. Carlos Boozer makes his list as
"climbing up," and Jason Williams is considered a success.
Joseph Forte is listed as one to question, but he must have written that
after a couple of beers. It's not that he needs to do more to help his team; his
team needs to do more to help him. Forte is skinny, and has trouble with
stronger players, but he shoots well, he hustles, and his defense is pretty
good. He could be much better if he got more support. It's pretty clear to us
that the kid has, as the idiom puts it, got it. He played his heart
out against FSU, for instance, and did everything you could ask a rookie to do
to win the game.
