In Syracuse tonight, which was probably less snowy than Raleigh or Durham or
Chapel Hill, the undefeated Orangmen (ever wonder why there's no Prunemen or
Grapemen or Graprefruitmen or Huckleberrymen? Nah, us neither, at least not til
just now) just
ripped UConn's heart out and stomped on it, totally dominating the Huskies,
winning 88-74 - and the game wasn't nearly that close. We confess, we're
guilty, like a lot of others, we suspect, of underestimating this bunch. No
more. That was an eye opener. Unlike a lot of schools, Syracuse has
significant senior leadership, which will count at tourney time.
