After losing several players to transfer, Arizona has now lost starter Richard
Jefferson to a foot injury for eight weeks. So they can probably say goodbye
to title hopes, since they're down to seven players. This is doubly painful in
Tucson after ASU's Eddie House exploded. They're bound to be
worried. Well, we forgot one of our least favorite columnists, Greg Hansen
of the Arizona Daily Star.
Hansen says it's a good thing, actually. On the other hand, he also
discusses Elton Brand's injury from, uh, last season....oops.
Hard to see how it's a good thing. Seven players are still seven players, and
they still only get so much rest and so many fouls.
