Looks like Maryland has had second thoughts about the second thoughts about Tamir Goodman. As we said the other day, the "sources in the athletic department" quoted by the Baltimore Sun had to be pretty high up to merit a front page story suggesting they were cooling on Tamir. Well, the Post is now siting the ubiquitous "source close to the Maryland athletic department," saying that the offer was still on the table.
The spin cycle on this is making us dizzy, frankly. Bob Gibbons also sited a "source close to the athletic department," suggesting, to us anyway, that damage control has been instituted.
