Quin Snyder
has hired a new assistant at Mizzou - Igor Kokoskov, of whatever is left of
Yugoslavia. He had been coaching the Junior National Team and likely helped to
train Radoslav Nesterovic, who was drafted last year by the Timberwolves..
Quin, who finds interesting and different ways to address known problems,
says he hired him because "he's a great teacher and has a depth of understanding of the basketball fundamentals, something I know is a trademark of international
basketball." Too bad we can't say that about our game.
Igor spent last year observing at Duke, so obviously Quin knows him well.
