Out in Lexington, Jamaal
Magliore has had his web site shut down. In what to us is a bizarre
ruling, the fact that he linked to commercial sites could have cost him his
eligibility. Obviously, linking is the nature of hypertext, so not being
able to do it is ridiculous. Kentucky got the problem straightened out but has
told Magliore to knock it off. ''We don't see a need for it, and Jamaal doesn't either,''
said Sandy Bell, who handles compliance issues there. ''It's not something he has time for.''
Apparently he did see a need for it. We're sorry they're
overreacting. As long as he is within the rules why not let him express
himself?
