After striking out twice in the NBA,
Master P has signed with the IBL's San Diego Stingrays.
He says "The NBA wasn't ready for me as a person. Some people were
fearful of my success. Because of the money, they wondered, 'Is he going to show
up? Is he going to practice?' It's like a liner note above my name: 'What's he
going to do?"'
Now that's a way to look at it we hadn't considered. We still think he's just
not good enough, but hey, if he's willing to start in the minors and work up,
then best of luck to the Master.
