Go Heels has a supportive
profile of Bill Guthridge, who is, universally, considered a good guy.
Even an ACC rival said "he's a nice man."
His biggest flaw is that he's not Dean Smith, but he seems to handle this
failing well. There's a great line in here about Gut trying to take a
charge on Wilt Chamberlain when he was in college. That would be a great
story to be able to tell.
Speaking of UNC, rumors are flying that Adam Boone is about to get in the
baby blue truck. He is in many ways exactly what a college player should be.
We'd prefer he go to Duke, but if he picks UNC, we'll find it easy to pull for
him (individually) just as we can pull for Jason Capel and Joe Forte.
