That's UNCbasketball.com's tape recorder alone on the side of the table. |
We're not saying that Goheels.com
ripped off UNCBasketball.com's
Morrison press conference scoop, but a reader sent us the following
comparisons. Look at the similarities from the two
reports of Morrison's press conference - and of course Ben posted first.
If you look at the photo carefully, you can see a microphone (it's black against
his mom's shirt) and a silver tape recorder on the left side of the table (right
side of the photo). which we assume was Ben's since he has the only
complete transcript we know of. Live or Memorex? You make the call!

basketball tradition, and I loved all the coaches and really liked all the
players . . . I chose North Carolina because of its basketball tradition as
well as their high academic standards for their students and student
athletes." -

On the other hand, nothing wrong with borrowing from one of your own
sites...depending on the origination of the material, that is.
- acctoday.com: "Coach (Bill) Guthridge had compared Brian to Shammond
Williams as far as being able to do a lot of things -- score, shoot threes
and handle the ball some -- and I think that's a great compliment," said
Lake Washington coach Cory Shepard said. "Shammond Williams was a heck of a
ball player for Carolina." -
