A lot of people think that Duke fans are just interested in being smartassed. Not the case. As we have said before, they recognize a great performance when they see one and they salute it. Here's the latest example as reported by DC

After the DePaul game, Coach Pat Kennedy entered the Fairview Restaurant at the wash Duke and received an immediate round of applause that began with a table of
people from DePaul but soon spread throughout the restaurant.
The recognition from all was well-deserved. I thought Kennedy did a terrific job in preparing his team, who played with a level of intensity we haven't seen from
visitors to Cameron in the last three years.
