There is, generally speaking, a sense that it's a more level playing field
this year. This is partly because Duke and Maryland aren't so dominant
this season, but also because every school, with the possible exception of
Clemson, has reasons for optimism. Wake, UVa, State, Tech, and FSU could all be
signficantly better. This could be a classic cut throat ACC season, and we're
all for that, because it makes for great hoops.
