Mrs. Ferrell's Service Info For Sunday

You'll rememember we told you that Anne Ferrell's
Mom passed away this week. We took this from the News & Record. We don't
think they'll mind. If anyone is close enough, and wants to pay their respects,
here is the info. As Anne said, the Ferrells have deep Duke ties, so we
hope that many of their friends and loved ones see this.

Mrs. Louise Williams Ferrell, 87, of No. 2 Fleming Terrace Circle, died Friday, July 16, 1999, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 1999, in the Westminster Gardens. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the College
Place United Methodist Church.

A native of Gastonia, she had resided in Greensboro for most of her life, was a member of the College Place United Methodist Church, a member of the United
Methodist Women, the Builders Sunday School Class and Circle Number 2. She was also a member of the Greensboro Women's Club and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clifton Ferrell and is survived by her sons, Dr. Henry Clifton Ferrell, Jr. of Greenville, Forrest
A. Ferrell of Hickory, and M. Rea Ferrell of Greensboro; daughters, Helen Ferrell Morton of Greensboro and Anne Bowles Ferrell of Knoxville, Tenn.;
brothers, Earl Williams, Charles Williams, and Ray Williams, all of Gastonia;
sister, Ann Williams of Gastonia; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
