I, EarlJam, want to develop a database on my computer that stores, well, any information that I use often.

When someone asks me where I got the information, I will tell them...

"Well, I took it out of context."

Back to the drawing board. Trying to invent an umbrella that doesn't soak you as you close it to get in your car.

May I suggest that you seek out episodes of Inspector Gadget for inspiration. Go go gadget umbrella :D
