And now it's stuck in my head for the rest of the day. All I had to do was read the title. Thanks for nothing. ;)

A great song, unfortunately for Mr. Cohn, this was his about his only hit. I guess he got cursed by that Best New Artist Grammy he got. Which of course is one more than I keep on my mantlepiece.

His latest album (Join the Parade) is surprisingly good.

Hold on a minute. Walking in Memphis was his only hit? What about Silver Thunderbird? Most people I know know that song. What about True Companion? That was on a CD we got of the most popular first dance songs at weddings (got it as a door prize at a wedding show, but has some good songs on it), and was our song (also our first dance song, coincidentally). I like just about every song on the album, but those are the three that I know many people are familiar with. I was heartbroken by Lonestar's remake. I like Lonestar, but their remake made me want to hurl.

He also got cursed by a gunshot wound, but lived to tell the tale. I'm glad dude is still around to put out records...

Yeah, getting shot in the head can be a bit of a bummer.
