ABC Person of The Week- Dukie Josh Sommer

Did anyone see the video on ABC news Friday night that discussed the great work by Duke undergraduate Josh Sommer to help solve/cure his own cancer? While the story was great and highly complimentary of Josh, the reporter for ABC, John McKenzie, starts talking in the video about there being "only one laboratory in the whole country" that was working to cure this rare cancer-- McKenzie is standing on the Duke campus, in front of the traffic circle on the main West Quad, right next to the old SAE dorm, as he says that the lab was "right here, on other side of campus", all under a byline that reads ABC News, CHAPEL HILL, NC... man, does that error bother me! I wonder if we can blame this on one of the many journalism grads from UNC, possibly working behind the scenes for ABC News.

I posted about him a few weeks ago when he was featured on the Today Show. They managed not to commit such a heinous UNC gaffe.
