Nope. I for one miss Hootenanny and the folk music vogue of the early '60s. Sort of an idealistic interlude that passed on at the same time as President Kennedy, blown away by the Beatles invasion. A lot of those guys, like Stewart, continued to make a contribution with a lower profile.

Considering that I have several dozen John Stewart Cds in my collection and know most of them by heart, I am very, very sad.

No confusion with Jon Stewart, DA. This one's the Kingston Trio member, and writer of the Monkees' hit, "Daydream Believer." He also had a pop hit in 1979 with "Gold" (w/Stevie Nicks).
