now that the lax board is gone, i think this is the right place to post this:

hopefully this indicates that the lax case is fully in the rearview mirror at this point.

We got beat by Brown? Brown? I know its an Ivy, but that's sort of like saying Budweiser is a beer.

Brown had 1.3% more applicants than us....hardly a difference. We also had more applicants than Princeton (by a very slim margin), so sheer numbers don't tell you much. Also, we had more than 1,300 more applicants than UVA despite the fact that UVA is a state school.

That is a lot of applicants. We better hurry up and start on some things.

We now need to tear down CIS and build a bigger arena.

We also need to vastly upgrade Wallace Wade.

There is a liklihood that one or more of those thousands of applicants might not be qualified. This is probaly directly related to Brodhead's handling of the lacrosse scandal, so he must be fired.

One of the new studetns might not cheer loud enough, so Alleva must be fired.

With more applicants Coach K should be able to go deeper on the bench.

Perhaps one of the applicants can be our new big-man coach.

The possibilities are endless.

On behalf of those to whom it applies, Touché.

No!! Not Brown!! (Brown!!... Brown!!... Brown!!...)

To be fair, that's after years of national advertising to students...

What can Brown do for you?

With more applicants, perhaps there is now enough of a demand for the Great Hall to serve coconut custard pie?;)

Or at least if we keep CIS we can now fill the student section.

Speaking of the Great Hall, does anyone know what happened to those awesome oak tables that used to be in there? IIRC they were something like 20' long.

Where's FDA? Surely he has some *insightful* commentary about this.
