Name the 80s Songs, Bands from the following "modified" lyrics:
My search is limited to filling the minutes and hours of my day with pleasurable activities; and there is no other activity more enjoyable than the one I am currently undertaking! Woooo!
On this evening, I shall proceed to celebrate as if it were the year of our Lord preceeding that of 2000.
Are you familiar with your geographical location? You are currently located in an impenetrable thicket and tangled mass of tropical vegetation. You are going to cease to exist!
The activity of which I speak represents the last time that a series of numbers shall be vocalized chronologically, in decreasing value!
All things considered, you may as well leap! LEAP!

Damn. Good one. I kept thinking "Angel" by Aerosmith. Or was that the early 90s? Couldn't figure out the placard reference ("you're my angel, come and be my direct mail piece?"). Good job.

I kept thinking, "Was there ever a song called. 'God Is A Triangle?' "
The title of that song, however, is merely "Centerfold".
I'd like to see someone reword "867-5309/Jenny".

Last two digits of senior year of Coach K's first great recruiting class followed by single digit rhyming with "heaven" followed by number that chronologically comes after the number four; followed by Alaa Abdelnaby's jersey number; followed by single digit number that rhymes with German word for "no;" followed by name of girl that absolutely obliterated EarlJam's heart in December, 2006.

True, but the thread was for lyrics, not song titles :)
No one has gotten 2) yet. It's a bit obscure for anyone not familar with Sayreville, NJ's musical history.

I'm guessing that means it's a Bon Jovi song, but damned if I know. (In this case, I would argue that knowledge is inversely proportional to coolness. ;))

"I'm feelin fine, it's 99 in the shade" is the line. And it is indeed Bon Jovi.
This is fun, and a good use of thesaurus.com. Let me see if I can come up with some others:
1) The father of biblical King David has obtained a female companion of whom I desire to take ownership.
2) On the evening of the last day of the week, I desire to create a woman, but currently I am unable to subsist.
3) Serendipity Lizard, you enter towards me and then you depart.
4) Display to those in your company all that you own, for my dear it is an unusually large amount.
5) Cease displaying signs of apprehension and become ecstatic.
6) Moving in the direction of the MCMLXIV's, but residing in the MCMLXXX's, the law enforcement czar speaks to the disk jockey's on the radio.

Here are the ones guessed correctly:
1) The father of biblical King David has obtained a female companion of whom I desire to take ownership.
"Jesse's got himself a girl and I want to make her mine"
3) Serendipity Lizard, you enter towards me and then you depart.
Karma Chameleon - you come and go
5) Cease displaying signs of apprehension and become ecstatic.
Don't Worry - Be Happy
And the ones still outstanding...
2) On the evening of the last day of the week, I desire to create a woman, but currently I am unable to subsist.
4) Display to those in your company all that you own, for my dear it is an unusually large amount.
6) Moving in the direction of the MCMLXIV's, but residing in the MCMLXXX's, the law enforcement czar speaks to the disk jockey's on the radio.[/QUOTE]
Here are some hints:
2) Poison
4) Kiss (Missed this one a bit; recorded in the 70's)
6) Can't give the band name, b/c it makes it too obvious. I will say it's from a song of the same name as a recent movie starring the Fresh Prince.
As for Wilson's first one, I have no idea. It feels like a "Pretty Woman" esque song. I can get the gist of the line, but not enough to get the hool down. Guess I'm better thinking these up than solving them.

I could've sworn I used this converter (http://www.novaroma.org/via_romana/numbers.html) on it, but I see now I only transcribed 1980. Instead of going up from X to C, I went down from X to IV.
Well that explains why no one got it. I figured the roman numerals would have been a dead giveaway. Plus it looks like I mixed up two verses (http://www.lyricsdownload.com/the-escape-club-wild-wild-west-lyrics.html)...
"Heading for the nineties living in the eighties
screaming in a back room waiting for the big boom"
and
"Mandy's in the backroom handing out valium
sheriff's on the airwaves talking to the D.J.'s"
Sorry 'bout that. Still, thought the Poison one was do-able, especially after the hint. They only had 5-6 hits to choose from, and it wasn't Fat Dance Toxoid.
