i don't get why he still is not getting voted into the hall of fame. yes, he used andro and creatine but they weren't banned by baseball when he used them. yes, he is a jerk and looked terrible in front of congress but is that enough to keep him out? it's not like he is in bonds's situation of using banned substances, lying about it and now facing jail time.

He admitted to Andro and Creatine but everyone suspects him of doing much more bad stuff than that, illegal stuff like HGH and steroids. The reason he refused to answer the questions before congress was because, unlike Bonds he was not willing to lie about it and face perjury charges. However, like Bonds he was not prepared to tell the truth either.

I suspect that if he ever comes forward and admits to something that people can accept as the truth, his Hall of Fame support will actually rise. For example, I bet people much more admire Andy Pettite than they do Roger Clemens at this point.
