I just reloaded my stapler and that got me to wondering. What holds the rows/sleeves of staples together? Know what I mean? You can take your finger and separate the individual staples (not easily though), yet, the entire sleeve stays intact, even if dropped on the floor.
Does anyone have any insight about staple adhesion here?

No info on adhesives, but this reminded me of a story. I used to do a fair bit of private training. Once I needed about 75 packets of materials made. I brought them in to have them copied, collated, and stapled. When I went to pick them up they had been copied and collated, but not stapled, despite it being clearly printed on the order. They were apologetic, and gave me the entire order for free. Where did I have this done? STAPLES

That is very, very funny!
Did it cause a major stress-out moment or could you immediately see the humor in the situation? Unbelievable.

It was funny, and it ended up not being a big deal - they gave me the order for free and I just bought 75 plain manilla folders. Even the folks at Staples got a kick out of the irony.

What kind of stapler do you prefer?
Personally, I prefer the Swingline model. Even when they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much.

EJ, if you're not retired, you might be soon. Where do you find time for posting on all this minutiae? You should do Seinfeld-styled standup, you've got the observational part down pat.

Looks like Hurley's growing up fast.
Before you know it EJ, Hurley will be off to college, and you'll be an empty-nester.
That would be a good reason to visit the Brickstore Pub in Decatur on Saturday, yes? Wilson?
Cheers,

Hmm... 5PM? That'll give us time to recuperate after participating on Snrubchat. I'm up for any suggestions for other times.
Cheers,
