At the advice of a few close friends, I've begun moisterizing my face. My last visit to the grocery store, however, was an exercise in frustration, as most of the lotions I saw on the shelf were body/skin lotions.

Are these okay for the face - or should I specifically be looking for facial lotions? If the latter, any recommendations on brands?

Thanks in advance.

I have used Keri lotion for years. No oder and absorbs well. Use it on face, neck, arms, legs and on all my ladies, as appropriate....

Really? Should I just say to hell with a moist face and excessive fat content? What about my yellow fungus-laden toenails and "overwhelming" body odor?

Sign of a true man!

Actually I think Indoor was referring to my post, that real men don't worry about something being too feminine to use

Just came across this in my guilty-pleasure reading:

No, I refer to the "feminine" concerns in the prior post.

You could always hide your toenails with nail polish. Works for me. (kidding!!!!)

...Duke football is looking for.

Back in the dark ages, when I was in high school, (ages darker than anyone had ever expected) I had a friend who was an all-conference running back. He wasn't that just one year either. Some years removed from school days, I asked him what he felt his secret was. How did he succeed when the rest of the team were dismal failures at the game? (our teams always finished .500 or much worse)

The secret, "Always wear the same old dirty pair of socks, and don't wash for three days prior to the game. That defense over there will be glad to tackle you that first time, but from then on....."

Well, that's what he told me.

Back when we used to play a lot of hoops in Burly, Burly, Burlington there was this one guy named Bo. He was a terrible baskeball player, however, he could make a shot every now and then. He also managed to get an occassional rebound. His secret? He would always, ALWAYS play in old stinky clothes and during the games, let me tell you, he was a sweater!

No one ever wanted to guard him. He was slithery, and smelled like hot garbage.

Good strategy though.

I used some made by Gillette (http://www.amazon.com/Gillette-Complete-SkinCare-Moisturizer-1-7-Ounce/dp/B000FKLB80)that was pretty good. I'm currently using Neutrogena (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=87252&catid=77622&aid=280302&aparam=df5628)with good results. I got the Neutrogena because it has a higher SPF, and, I think, better UVA and UVB block. Whatever moisturizer you get, make sure it has an SPF of at least 15.

Recommended by doctors and hospitals for years for face (and everything else) is good ol' Lubriderm. Despite many expensive things I've used, I always come back to that. (Of course as a over-40 female, there are others I use around the eyes, etc.)

As for toenails -- yeeah...Lamisil if you want to possibly destroy your liver, and have to ingest for months, if not years. As for natural-homeopathic solutions. Australian Tea Oil!! It comes in little bottles, usually with a brush attached to the cap (like iodine), and it WORKS. Can be purchased in any health food store -- and in fact, in many grocery stores/drugstores, etc.
