Watched this on the strength of the cast, especially Peter Krause who, after Sports Night and Six Feet Under, can do no wrong. There are a lot of long term viability risks with this show: the ensemble cast could collapse under its own weight as it could lead to too many storylines in play, the "I'm quitting"/"no I'm not" tension is already old, etc.

But I liked it, and I've tentatively set a Season Pass.

They certainly introduced enough plot lines. I'm on the fence but I like Krause enough to give it some time.

This show and Cane from Tuesday night seem to have an old-fashioned fascination with money and glamour and all that. Dallas or Dynasty come to mind and I didn't care much for either show.

We'll see.

I Tivoed Cane, but I haven't watched yet. Should I bother?

You guys are hanging out on the boards pretty late. I mean, I'm at the office - what's your excuse? :)

If I'm not sleeping, showering, or driving, chances are I'm online.

Oh I AM! But I'm bowing out gracefully and hopefully, honorably. Did I spell honorably correctly?

My buttocks itch.

This made me laugh! "...insensitive clod." Excellent.

I'm working on an article on construction management while watching that stupid-hass VH1 show with Bret Micheals. My God. The patheticacy is out the roof!

Bah, neither of the prior posters was from the "Best Coast" as one of my LA-resident friends would say.

thanks, but can't take credit for it - it's from slashdot (http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Insensitive_clod) (and apparently from Calvin and Hobbs, didn't know that... maybe you did?)

Hey nothing wrong with watching stupid VH1 shows! Just don't sink so low as to watching re-runs of American Gladiators or Price is Right... ;) BTW your "stupid-hass" comment reminded me of a Reno 911 episode where a guy is taking about "bass-taping".

I had not seen it advertised and I hate the title, but I watched it because we know the kid who plays the Ministers son. I was pleasantly surprised and would watch again even without the personal connection. The family is whacked beyond belief, but it does make for some good story lines. I still hate that title though.
