If not, make it a priority to do all three to make it a "full day." Jim Valvano. Someone on the radio mentioned him this morning so when I got to work, the first thing I did was to read his ESPY speech. Incredible.

There's so much wisdom in that speech. It's worth taking a few minutes to revisit and reflect on it today, tomorrow, etc. It will completely change your day for the better.

Here's a link: http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/jimvalvanoespyaward.htm

We've been discussing much about movies on this board. Has a movie ever been made about Valvano's life? If not, good Lord, why not? Seems it would make a great, inspiring movie.

EarlJam,
There was a movie done about Jim Valvano for network TV which later aired on (get ready for this) Lifetime Network. Anthony Lapaglia played JV and Ronnie Cox played a character called "Mike" which was loosely based on Coach K.

Thank you for the reminder to laugh, not sure I want to cry, and I try not to stop thinking. :D We all need to laugh, everyday. Which reminds me, I need to post something on the Today's Joke thread.
