My wife's from Lon-gisland so I (kinda) root for the Mets when they're not playing the Astros.

There are few things in life I regret I DIDN'T buy. When I lived near Baltimore as a kid and went to Memorial Stadium for a game against the Yanks (incidentally during that particular game Reggie Jackson forgot how to count and started heading for the dugout after two outs. As we were sitting in the right field section I certainly helped raz him about it) a vendor was selling "I hate the Yankees hankie." I regret that I did not buy one. :(

The off-color hats (e.g., red, green, pink, etc.) hats are horrible to begin with, and they go and do this?! Can't go with anything but the traditional color (except I do like some of the tan Nats hats).

My Yankees hat is Duke Blue, as should they all be. :D

Wasn't there a simliar problem like this one year at the Final Four. I don't recall the city but different gangs wore different college hats to signify their gangs. Folks where told to watch what sections they where in and try not to wear their hats so they wouldn't be confused as be affliated with a gang and something happening from a rival one.

And ow about those atrocious UNC hats/shirts that are Duke blue, with the UNC logo in The Other Shade? Even the football team at UNC practices in dark blue jerseys with UNC blue numbers. Can't we put a stop to this?
