i may have missed something, but the paris hilton situation makes me SO sick to my stomach that I can't stomach to even try and make fun of it. it really is an indictment against our penal system - what kind of lesson is she going to learn spending 40 days (or whatever it is) on house arrest? Just about everyone else in this country can only DREAM about being able to spend 40 days in that setting.

Paris told me I could get this far....

On another note, it is slightly sickening to how much attention our society pays attention to this crap (myself included). I wish every soldier who died in Iraq got a hundredth of the coverage Paris Hilton going to jail got.

Not so fast, Paris.

Looks like the prosecutors did not appreciate the Sheriff letting her go under house arrest. Her sentence explicitly forbids house arrest.
