So my boss is going to the St. John's game this weekend and wanted somewhere to watch the Pitt football game at noon. He's hoping to be able to watch somewhere nearby where he can park on campus and walk. I thought of the Armadillo Grill. I've never been there - it opened a bit after I graduated. I see that it should be open on Sat afternoon.
Two questions though. Do they still have TVs in there and did I hear correctly that they serve beer there?

Thanks!
I live four miles from campus. I've just never had occasion to eat at the Armadillo.

I eat lunch at the one in Carrboro frequently. The food is good. Even better - the manager is a big Duke fan. When I get to the register to pay it is a brief respite for both of us from the horror of being surrounded by so many unc folks.

i'm not saying that I ever did this, but i heard about a guy that would go to a place where "whoever controls the remote" was the deal and he would just tuck it in his jacket after he selected what he wanted to see..then it would be, like, "where's the remote? - i dunno - put it down "over there" somewhere"..
i'm not saying...i'm just saying
