my family.

We lost my dad in october this year after a long illness...it's going to be a tough turkey day without him.

my dad was defined by the things that he loved. His family was his life's great love and i'm proud to say, he passed that on to me...

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I know that road you're on (have lost both parents). I know he's proud of you, and I'm glad you're a Dukie and post on the DBR. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. The holidays are difficult (we lost our Dad three years ago on 11/15) - but the love of family he instilled in you will help. I hope you had the opportunity to share some wonderful days. I always remember what a neighbor told me when our Mom passed away - be grateful you have a mother (father in your case) to miss.

Keep his love of family alive. Happy day after Thanksgiving to you and yours.
