Just bought a 15" Macbook Pro, 4GB Ram and external 24" LED monitor, wireless (Bluetooth) mouse and keyboard.

Problem: When all hooked up to monitor, mouse, laptop left idle, Macbook goes to sleep and won't wake up without rebooting.

Any answers by Mac users?

mine sometimes does that. have you tried disconnecting the monitor and reconnecting? if all else fails i just curse at billybreen and write things on twitter that i can't repeat here.

Try holding the on-off switch down just until you hear the HD spin up. Do this in clamshell mode with the unit's monitor just open enough to reach the on-off button.

i've only had that happen once or twice when i first got mine.... i changed my "put computer to sleep" to 1 hour in the system prefs. hasn't happened since then...

here is some discussion that might apply if that's not it..
