How many here are old enough to remember "My Little Margie"?
How many would admit it?

I can remember the program and don't mind saying so!

Until I read some of the articles online, I didn't remember that "My Little Margie" was aired to fill in for "I Love Lucy" when the season's episodes ran out for the summer..... yes, that's right, new programs were aired just for the summer. The best ones seemed to make their way into the fall lineups. ;)

Heck, I remember the radio show. We didn't get a TV until 1956, but many of the radio and TV episodes were simulcast. Since the show ended in 1955, I don't think I ever (as a 15-year-old) saw it on our home TV.

(Note: my parents strongly believed in books and that TV was a waste of time -- until my dad discovered Steve Allen and Ed Sullivan -- whose Sunday shows conflicted.)

I guess I saw it in reruns if the show ended in 1955. As a 1 year old, TV wasn't a high priority for me... ;)

I guess your Dad didn't have a DVR back then, did he? How did we ever survive without today's, or even yesterday's technology (like VCR's)? Sheesh.
