Hi,
My biggest guilty pleasure is "Nip/Tuck." For some reason I really like that show. Anyone else into it? Do you think Christian will really get married and/or that he will die from breast cancer? Am I the only person who thinks the potential marriage to Lizzy is really cruel to Lizzy? Since the men (doctors) on the show are portrayed as rich, intelligent, and handsome--do you think people watching the show think they are Duke graduates? :D
GO DUKE!

I was a huge fan of the first three seasons. After that, it got pretty freakin' ridiculous. I watched a few minutes of this past season and ended up laughing at most of it. Disappointing.

I too was a fan of the first few season. It started getting bad toward the end of the Florida run and since moving to LA it has just been absurd.
That said, I have been watching this season. I am betting that Christian will not die this season. They will kill him off next season, probably in the finale of the show. It cannot go on without Christian as he is waaaay more interesting and watchable than Sean.
I agree that the marriage to Liz is cruel and that has been one of the worst plot points in the history of the show. Liz being a lesbian and immune to Christan and Sean's charms (allowing her to be the conscience of the practice) has always been one of the strong points of the show. Having her suddenly fall for Christian (and having a spine-tingling O after 10 seconds of sex with no warmup at all) was just a horrible idea. Not good.
The show does not even pretend to be about anything other than the absurd anymore. I am not sure why I still watch. It is worth noting that it has one of the lowest positions possible on my series priority list on my TIVO, so if I miss it, it is no big deal ;)

In the middle of Season 5 via Netflix...guess I shouldn't have clicked on this thread!
Although I'll agree it's a bit absurd these days...most of the fun in watching is to see how the heck they can make each episode progressively crazier...

You described my feelings as well. I have literally LOL at this show. It still gets DVR'd but I only watch it when I have nothing else to watch. Even then I usually fast forward past a lot of it.
