I'm a huge U2 fan, and was wondering if anyone else has had a chance to listen to U2's new record (it has leaked), and what you think.

I've been listening to it over and over, and I really like it. "Get On Your Boots" is one of their worst singles ever, and is probably the weakest song on the album, but as a whole, the record is very solid. It's not as good as their two best records (imo), Achtung Baby and The Joshua Tree, but it's better than How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and on par with All That You Can't Leave Behind.

Highlights for me are "Moment of Surrender" and "Magnificent" in particular. I also really like "Breathe", "Stand Up Comedy", and "Unknown Caller".

Would be interested to hear some impressions once the record is released and people get to listen to it.
