Well not exactly, but Tiger and his wife Elin welcomed their new son into the world yesterday. Charlie Axel Woods.
Assuming he even takes up the game, what are the chances he is even half as good as his dad?
One of Nicklaus' sons, Gary I think, has actually spent some time on the tour. Might be interesting to follow, again assuming he wants to play.

I think if I were the same gender child of any sports legend I'd pick another sport. What kid really wants to be compared to their parent all day every day? (Grant Hill rather than Chris Simms or Brian Griese)

Good point. There have been some 2nd generation golfers, but Tiger's prominence makes that followup even more difficult.
Tiger has good overall athletic ability, so perhaps his son will inherit speed, strength, and coordination. I could picture Tiger as a track athlete, basketball player, or perhaps a defensive back or wide receiver in football.
Coach K has had his share of sons of prominent athletes, but unless he's the Joe Paterno of college basketball, he'll be gone by the time Charlie Woods is ready to enroll. Maybe Charlie can play point guard for Coach Wojo.

Maybe we can revisit this thread later. More important goals for his future are sleeping through the night and, I don't know, sitting up.

I never knew that Tiger was such a huge fan of Guns N' Roses. I hope lil' Tiger never ends up like this:

Why wait? Aren't we offering a basketball scholarship to Shelden/Candace offspring in utero?
