Manicure. I'm getting a fill for my gel nails.
The pedicure could be fun. I love the spa chair, but I hadn't planned on doing all 20 nails.

Lavabe you know just as much as I do that Boxing Day is all about sitting around and watching the beautiful game. But in addition I will probably play some Madden 09 (just got it) and maybe venture to a sports store to find myself a Pitt tshirt. Got tickets to go with my best friend (Pitt fan) to see Pitt at Rutgers next week. Rutgers is having a "Red Out" so I can't wait to be wearing navy blue and gold and waving a Terrible Towel around.

I have a good friend Bill, whose mother has been hosting a Boxing Day party for decades. Well momma Donna died this year, so...Bill is hosting the party this Saturday.
There's always a lot of good cheer, good drinks and great food. My friend Bill is known as "meat boy" and/or the "grill master." His tri-tip on the grill rivals anything that exists on the planet. (Bill is one of my fishing buddies).
So...with Bill in charge this year, it's off to tri-tip heaven. I LOVE Boxing Day. And greetings to all who have not experienced a fabulous Boxing Day party. It also gives us all an excuse to stay home on New Year's with a good book, an old movie, and just snuggling with a few friends, family, and dogs, and cats.
Blessings to all for a happy New Year. (Please....)

I'm going shopping with my gift certificates. Mum and I will hit the Talbot's outlet outside Baltimore, and later Dad and I will visit Sears where we can pick out a power drill for me. I asked for a power drill for Christmas, before I knew I was going to buy a house. :D

Splurge and get one with a Lithium Ion battery. They charge faster, the charge lasts much longer when in use, and if the tool sits around for months unused it holds its charge for about two years until you use it, unlike NiCads which will give you about 10 seconds of use before dieing and leaving you frustrated.

Wise words...Lithium Ion is much better than the NiCads. Spend extra to get them!!
As for Boxing Day, I will be doing my imitation of a throw pillow on the sofa - recovering from two days of Christmas madness and preparing for three days of dog show madness.

I'm still recovering from nearly four weeks of puppy madness, preparing for another 11 months of it!;)
