The cast of How I Met Your Mother agreed to appear in a series of recreations of the most famous photos/scenes of the year for E Magazine. Several of the photos are not the ones I would have picked, but this one really stood out because the guys went the extra mile to make it look real.

Ummm-- because it is really, really funny. That is why it has won a lot of awards (mostly for NPH, but still).

Which is funny, this being my least favorite of all the seasons. Well. The episodes up to the one after the wedding were pretty good, after that I haven't been impressed. I loved the first 3 season though, and I'm sure this one will pick up. Or I'm a bad judge of whats good. Who knows.

If I remember correctly, the "black" swimmer, Cullen Jones, had run around the side of the pool at the end and didn't come running up until after he'd touched the wall. So, technically, when they were in that pose, cheering on Lezak right at the end, there should have been only two of them, and they should have both been white.

If they wanted to show them all hugging after the race, they should have included Brady as the fourth, which would have been truly hysterical.
Lezak was almost out of the pool by the time Cullen came around, and it seems clear from the pose of Ted that "Lezak" is still swimming or has just touched the wall to win. It's an odd pose. They should have studied the photos from the race better and posed themselves better, cause Barney and Marshall look like the olympians did after the race was over and they saw the clock and knew who had won, which means Brady should have been there hugging them, whereas Ted is posed like one of the swimmers before the race had ended, cheering him on. From who is there and the poses they're in, it actually looks more like the medley team, which was all-white.

The funniest part of the photo to me is that none of them appear to be wet. :eek:

FWIW, I saw his show at the Venetian in LV. It was great. Seriously. :D
