why would that tick them off? Coach K is a respected coach. You expect Carter to be giving Coach K the finger or something? Duke recruited Vince Carter pretty heavily coming out of highschool. I'm sure knows Coach K better than most of us.

I dunno. I think they are discussing a certain windmill. Wrong color blue but I give props where props are due. One of the best dunks I have ever seen live.

I'm not sure how widely known it is, but Lawrence Frank also is a part of Bob Knight's coaching tree. Although he's from NJ, he attended Indiana specifically to work as a manager for the Hoosier basketball program.

Oh, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to get fired up--I think it's cool to see the respect that NBA stars have for Coach K. However, I know a number of UNC folks that will get a little fired up by the interaction. I think it's clear, though, that the players and coaches don't approach the rivalry with hatred or hostility as some fans and alums wish they would.
