I'm visiting my parents and friends of mine. I haven't been back there in a few months. Wouldn't be surprised if I didn't even see a casino. ;)

When I first read the name of this thread, I had forgotten you had mentioned this trip. I thought of an ad for a prescription drug....... you know the one with the guys playing in a band, singing, "Viva Viagra!".

Sigh...party pooper.
Have a great weekend anyways. Say hi to mom and dad from all of us. Make your friends buy you a drink, and know that your hair is better looking than their hair. And still bet on Duke over Vandy!
P.S. Now I got that damn jet plane song stuck in my head.

Funny you mention the hair... a friend and I are going to compare new 'dos!
And sadly, I don't leave until tomorrow. Darn work.
Mom & Dad are mad cool (usually  ). Mom's been to a game at Cameron with me & we went on the cruise last month. Dad's trip will be to come see a basketball game (& maybe football???) here in January. (Mom didn't want to go to the game; Dad didn't want to cruise... though funny enough, they just got back from one... hmmmm.)
Anyhoo, yippee! Viva Las Vegas! :D:D:D

Ahhhh got in after the game had ended. WTG, Duke! (BTW, saw the ever-so-brief-when-compared-to-other-games recap on ESPN when they lamented Vandy's loss and didn't talk about Duke's win- just that Vandy lost to Duke. )
I do, however, still have 2 games remaining today. Kicker is that I don't bet on my team(s). Ever. Karma. Superstition. Whatever. I just don't bet for me. You want me to place one for you, though, fine, no prob. Just let me know.
Tonight is dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant in town. :D It's show & tell for my parents- friends of theirs who I haven't seen in a while want to visit with me so my parents show (me) and I tell (whatever stories I can come up with).
You can bet (haha pun intended) that I'll be running back and forth to the bar. Or offering the waitstaff a better tip to bring me score updates (it's worked in the past). Perfect scenario is that we get a table in the bar area (Vegas is non smoking, so no big), but the bar area is tiny. :(

Me either! Hope you're having fun in Vegas with your parents and their friends. Come to think of it, my parents play that show and tell thing with me and their friends too. Must be a parents thing.
