Bacon and egg ice cream. That is just 100% disgusting.
However..the bacon wrapped tater tots sound enticing. I like bacon wrapped weenies with toothpicks.

As the poster formerly known as “Bacon,” this disturbs me greatly.

On a recent episode of Mission Impossible (food network) the new chef was trying to come up with a cool desert based on jersey shore boardwalk staples. He made chocolate covered bacon strips and it seemed to be a huge hit with a large crowd. I can't imagine anything wrong with it. Salt and chocolate go together nicely. Grease and chocolate are good friends as well. So why not?

here's the deal......i am a bacon expert....when we were growing up, each child would get to request what EVER kind of cake they wanted for their birthday. Mine was a whole pound of bacon for myself.....
the absolute best bacon is the SMITHFIELD GOURMET THICK SLICED at sam's club....
remember, cook more than you need so you'll have a cold slice in the fridge when you get home from work...
it's what's for breakfast.....

What about a bacon-scented candle?!? Then your house would always smell like breakfast! For my part, it would be far better than the "vanilla breeze" candles that always seem to find their way into our home.

I believe the person who came up with Turkey Bacon was the same person who thought it was a good idea to have a Bull Durham sequel some 20+ years after the first movie.
WHOOPS, mixing threads again!!:p
FWIW, the original Bull Durham was on Encore last night. I was right. The assistant who promised us KK donuts was Kippi Bell. They were filming the wedding scene.
Cheers,

Hmmm... bacon. As the foremost expert on bacon and other pork products, let me say that some of the above items sound great... not sure if they all do tho.
You guys should check out the bacon suit, or the bacon bra.
Hmmmm. Bacon.

Costco carries a thick-cut maple bacon that makes the kiddies eyes light up. It's our Christmas morning bacon and for that one day, guilt free.

I eat the real stuff straight...but must confess I cook it in the microwave. Wait, haven't we covered that around here before?
The turkeys aren't happy about it either.
Especially not this Turk. Blech. We call that shoe leather "Facon" (as in "fake" - get it?) and I won't touch it whenever we happen to be spending the weekend at the in-laws.
(P.S. Unsolicited marital advice to JBDuke - pick which battles to have with your in-laws. Breakfast isn't one of them).

I wonder what dogs really think of those "Beggin Strips" ("It's BACON!"). I believe that Beggin Strips are to dogs, what Turkey Bacon is to the majority of posters in this thread.;)
Absolutely, one of the top ten worst commercials of all time.

Absolutely, one of the top ten worst commercials of all time.
They probably love them...dogs are not know for their discriminating palates...they lick their own butts and drink out of toliets. They also aren't too particular about how long something they find in the woods has been dead.
On the other hand, their noses are so good there is no way they would think Beggin Strips are bacon.
I agree that is one of the top ten worst commercials of all time.

Saw chocolate covered bacon, sprinkled with pecans on Dinner Impossible this weekend. It looked great and everyone (on film) that tried it said it was amazing. I believe it too. Chocolate and salt are awesome together. I like salting up an order of biggie fries, and dunking them in my frosty. Mmm Mmm good. Soon, I will be cooking up some chocolate covered bacon. I'll let you know how it goes. :D
