I'll take a step back from that and just say bbq'd meats are the most holy of gifts. I love it all.

I'm really holding back here. Exercising restraint. So many ways to go with this one. But I won't. I just won't.

I don't think Sue was prepared to watch me watch a chili and bbq cook-off. That's right, chili and bbq (all varieties) in one competition. It looked like heaven. Sue doesn't get it because she only likes white rice and water.

"Pork" would be even more disturbing.

"We're watching pork.....HIS pork."

Ya know?

I like white rice...water not so much but a necessary evil.

Have you ever tried making rice with an alternative to water? For example, I tried using pineapple juice instead. When the cooking was complete I fluffed it with butter and chunks of fresh pineapple served with bbq'ed ribs. WOW!

Yes, I am a picky eater but let's keep this on topic, shall we? :p

It was more about the look on your face... the sounds you were making... your tongue hanging out of your mouth... your eyes all glazed over... sad how you suddenly needed a napkin.

Unfortunately YBT, I believe you are correct. That's okay, I know, deep down on the inside, that I am probably, almost, maybe, kinda sorta, sometimes, on a good day, if you don't count all of the felonies, a decent guy.
