I'm sure this has been discussed around here sometime before, but I've gotten sucked into a couple of episodes of "A Haunting" on the Discovery Channel (which has creeped me out considerably, even in broad daylight), so I'm wondering...who believes in ghosts?

I've seen orbs, and my dog used to keep us up at nite barking at what wasn't at the foot of our bed. My favorite, however, was in college. We were at a friend's house, he lived in an old DC townhouse. Lotta wierd things would go on. The best was there were about 5 of us in his living room watching tv, and we heard someone very loudly coming down the stairs. Each step was louder and closer than the first, obviously wearing boots, and we all looked over to see who it would be. Nobody showed up, and when we looked, nobody was on the stairs. In fact, nobody was upstairs at all. It was great because there were so many witnesses.

I saw the movie Ghost and I liked it, so I definitely believe in it. :p
My wife is visited by her deceased relatives.

I'll be the skeptic. I think ghosts are silly.

There are no ghosts, but I'd love to see one.

I've heard lots of credible stories over the years from friends and family, but I still don't buy it. I work with seniors and am currently in a community that has probably had over 300 deaths in the building over the past 30 years. You'd think at least 1 ghost would still be hanging around if real, but no reports, sightings, globes, auras, chains clanking or anything.

I watch and enjoy Ghost Whisperer and Medium, but I don't believe in ghosts.
I do believe in flying saucers, well, intelligent life from and on other planets.

While in college, I worked in a funeral home and one night while vacuuming after a service in the chapel, the piano began to play itself. Yes, I was totally freaked out, but I was more scared of my boss if I didn't finish. As long as it was playing, I knew where it was. I was too scared to go see if the keys were really moving. Whatever it was, they were pretty good.
