View Full Version : Bloomberg accidentally publishes Steve Jobs' Obituary
It has to be weird reading your own obituary (http://gawker.com/5042795/steve-jobss-obituary-as-run-by-bloomberg). I hope Jobs overcomes his pancreatic cancer and we don't have to read this again for a while.

If I were still around to read mine, I'd claim editing rights.

BillyBreen hasn't posted in several minutes, can someone go check on him to make sure he didn't have a heart attack?
Reminds me of when Time magazine accidentally published Cheney's obit a few years back as well...

I briefly considered titling the thread "Steve Jobs - RIP," but thought better of it because Jobs is actually fighting a serious illness and because I thought BB might really harm himself before clicking the link.

By the time I heard about this, it was well after the fact. Hopefully we have many years of "One More Thing"s ahead.

They did the same thing with that senator lady from Colorado a week or so back. Attention journalists!! Please make verify that people really are dead before you publish articles saying so. Thank you.

Must be the creepiest thing ever to read your own obit.

I don't know, I'd think it would be sort of fun. I've often wondered if after I'm dead, God will allow me to see my funeral service. I mean, you know, I don't know the rules about the afterlife and all, but I guess I'll find out one day! :D
