I can understand and see that. I was thrown off when, after taking a very close look at the entire image, I noticed that the red on the background next to John's face is lighter than the red on the same background over his left shoulder.

I then realized this was simply a matter of lighting, shadows, and knew the photo was real.

That's rich -- using Fox news to substantiate a National Enquirer story.

When you link to the Fox story, the "confirmation" turns out to be the testimony of an unnamed security guard at a hotel who saw Edwards in a late-night shouting match with an Enquirer reporter.

At least, it might be Edwards -- my favorite part of the Fox story is this item:

"The guard did not recognize Edwards at the time of the incident, but said he concluded it was the 2008 presidential hopeful after hearing reports about the incident and finding an Enquirer reporter's notebook at the scene."

Well, with proof like that ...

PS Now that Fox has jumped all over the Enquirer's story on Edwards, I breathlessly await their followup to the Feb. 21, 2005 Enquirer cover: Bush's Booze Crisis" or the Jan. 8, 2008 Globe cover that presented "stunning photo evidence" of "Laura's Claw Marks" (on Bush's face) and the explanation of "Her explosive fight with boozy Bush"

Then there's the two 2006 covers of the Globe and the Examiner, which both reported that the Bush marriage was over and that as soon as his term was up, they were getting divorced. We really need Fox to follow up to find the reason for the split -- the Examiner claims it was due to Bush's alcoholism, while the Globe suggests that it was because of Bush's affair with Condi Rice.

I think it was a rhetorical wager in a not-so-sly ploy to pad his (our?) post counts on this on any # of other threads:o:D. And, yes, your strategy was not well planned as you easily could have spread this over several posts/threads. You could always rectify the error, modify your previous post and duplicate in on another thread or three:rolleyes:;).
