More On The Return Of Vasquez
The Washington Post has a nice article up on the mutual admiration society populated by Greivis Vasquez and Gary Williams. Vasquez of course recently withdrew from the NBA draft, and hours after that, the Baltimore Sun posted the report that Maryland, perhaps not coincidentally, has quit recruiting Lance Stephenson. Gary Parrish blames his family.
The expectations for next season are subsequently looking up. Andy Katz pegs them at #17. With four starters who learned from the school of hard knocks coming back and two promising big men, they should be fine.
